Sorry everyone! It seems that former settings caused some confusion, but hopefully it is fixed! We put a word verification in the comments posting, but have taken it off. Hopefully now it works...

ReplyDeleteHey everyone, I was wondering how you all felt about making the price range at $30/+ instead of the $25-$40 range? It seems like such a wide spread. I wouldn't want anyone to feel guilty about going towards the $25 range and receive a gift worth $40. This way, anyone who feels very generous can go however high they would want over the $30 limit, but everyone would feel comfortable knowing that $30 is a sufficient amount to spend on a nice gift. Just a thought ... :)
Sharon's suggestion is good. Originally, the $25-40 range was made with the same intention. We just didn't want anyone to feel obliged to spend more than a certain amount. If we said $30+ and somebody was to buy a $50 gift, there would still be the same discrepancy. Whichever way makes you all feel more comfortable, is cool with me.

ReplyDeleteMy recommendation is to have an agreed minimum amount of $25 or $30. That's up to the individual if he/she wants to give more. Needless to say, with this agreement, we are not putting any burden to anyone.
