Paskuhan is assumed to occur on December 25; however, if the hosting family decides to move the party to a different date, fair warning must to given to all families by October of that year (Halloween at absolute latest) so that schedules adjustments and accommodations can be made.

- Suggestion of White Elephant for kids
- Please feel free to ask anyone in the family for help with planning and cleaning up, or help with specific tasks pertaining to the party.
- If the host intends to have poker or mahjong, or wants to hold a meeting amongst the second generation, it may be best to offer a "set time" for these items on the outgoing invitation, so it is understood amongst everyone.

-------BELOW IS THE SUMMARY FROM 2009-------------
During Paskuhan 2009, the second generation Villamater and Durante cousins had a meeting to discuss the transfer of responsibilty of planning future Paskuhans from the elders to their children. As our clan grows larger and larger, coordinating our annual Christmas party is becoming too much work and strain for our now older parents to handle on their own. Now that we are older and growing families of our own, if we wanted to continue the tradition of our annual Christmas party, we found it to be our duty to take over the party-planning.
When we discussed the schedule of hosting responsibilities for future Christmas parties last year, the following schedule for the next 5 years was agreed upon by the participating parties present. We decided to alternate between the Villamater and Durante families.
- 2010 - Jason and Jovanne
- 2011 - Leslie, Kay, and Jeffrey
- 2012 - Sharon, Omen, and Michael
- 2013 - Nantes family (switched with Mempin)
- 2014 - Mempin family (switched with Nantes)
Please refer to the notes (see below) taken during the meeting for the list of families that have agreed to host future Paskuhans. The list of families willing to participate can be revisited during the meetings held during each Paskuhan, per the agreement.
Other items agreed upon by those present at the meeting were the following:
- The monetary contribution for each Christmas party for every person/family has been set as the following:
- Single: $15
- Married Couples/Families : $25
- Elders (First Generation): contribution not required, but optional
- The deadline for RSPVing to the party will be set at the Thanksgiving of that calendar year (regrets only).
- Every Christmas party, there will be a 1-hour meeting (to be organized by the hosts) held to discuss future Christmas parties
- It is the responsibility of the host to collect the set contributions, whether it be prior to the party or on the day of the party. For example, they can require that the contributions be mailed by the Thanksgiving of that year, if they so choose.
- It is the host's decision on the food to be served, including lechon. However, it was agreed upon that Filipino food is expected to be served.
- The "outer family" (ie. Salvanera, Capulong, Ultra) will receive invitations, but will also be updated on our agreement and arrangements and subject to the contributions.
